Carling Family Butchers Now Open For Business

Carling Family Butchers opened their doors today for the first time to the public since taking over the shop located on Toll Gavel.

Father Chas Carling and son Chaz Carling said their first day’s trading had gone down well with the shoppers in the town.

HU17.net first spoke to Chaz back in June when he secured the lease on the store located on Butcher Row.

Customers were greeted by the father and son team and offered a glass of wine to celebrate the opening.

Back in June Charlie Carling told Hu17.net how he been waiting for the opportunity to get back into the town after an absence of some eight years.

It was good to see the big plastic butcher back on the streets it was just a shame there was a lot of works happening directly outside their store.
