Two lads from Beverley, Daniel Ricardo, who now resides in Birmingham and Rob Northern took part in an evening of white collar boxing that was held at O’Riellys Bar, Hull.
The pair put on an entertaining show and were supported by well over a hundred people who had made the short trip to Hull to watch the fight.
For Rob Northern who is better known for his footballing talent, this was the first time he had stepped into the ring. He showed great heart and gave it is all for the entire fight to the delight of his fans.
Held over three rounds Ricardo and Northern traded blows with the fight eventually being declared a draw by match officials.
