Beverley Folk Festival Collect Over £1000 In Donations

Organisers of the Beverley Folk Festival have thanked the people of Beverley for their generosity and support after raising over £1,000 in donations.

The Beverley Folk Festival, which celebrated its 30th Anniversary this year collected the donations through the numerous street performances like that of the Earlsondon Morris Men.

In a statement released by the Beverley Folk Festival committee they said;

“Beverley Folk Festival would like to send a very big thank you to everyone who made cash donations to the street collectors during the festival weekend 21st – 23rd June 2013”

“Organisers are extremely touched by the generosity and support the public gave this year to The Beverley Folk Festival which remains a not for profit organisation.”

“Special Thanks from Beverley Folk Festival, the total amount collected was a staggering £1194.43.”

“Donations were collected on Saturday 22nd & Sunday 23rd June 2013 in Beverley Town on behalf of the Beverley Folk Festival by Granted Permit Holder, Stuart Higson”
