Next season provides Humber League Champions Beverley Town Football Club with a great opportunity to make further progress after the giant strides taken last season both on and off the field by the club.

Coaching changes have been made in all three of the teams with being installed as first-team assistant manager, Ed Grady becoming reserve team coach and the biggest change of all taking place in the third team.

The club is pleased to announce that it is creating a Beverley Town Academy side which will be formed mainly of the best-quality players in the area between the ages of 16-20. The club is pleased to welcome Paul Garwood and Steve Dixon, who will be managing the side and helping to develop a sustainable link between youth and open age football in Beverley.

First team manager welcomed the move saying;

“I believe this will encourage long-term development within the town as at present there is a gap in this area with young players haphazardly making their way through to open age football.”

“The club has shown this year that we have the some of the best coaches in the area who have the same approach as I do in terms of giving younger players the every possible platform to develop their skills and if good enough play at the highest level we can offer.”

Pre season starts on Sat 29th June at 1.30 opposite the Beverley Racecourse grandstand (trainers only) with sessions from Tuesday and Thursday onwards being at Longcroft School 6.30pm.

First team pre season friendless that are confirmed are mainly against North East Counties opposition and include Winterton Rangers, Pickering Town, , Barton Town and Hall Road Rangers with two other games against Central Midlands side Easington and local side .
