The 7th Beverley Network of Stallholders Craft and Shopping Fair Preview

Love traditional locally produced crafts and homemade goods? Enjoy spending a lazy Sunday wandering around markets full of interesting goodies? Then this event is definitely for you!

Jigsaw Events brings to you The 7th Network of Stallholders Craft and Shopping Fairs scheduled for 23rd June, at the Lairgate Hotel in Beverley. Welcoming in the public from 11.00am and running through until 4.00pm. Over 30 stalls will occupy all of the public areas of the hotel, offering a vast range of treats and delights.

Jigsaw Events is a local East Yorkshire event planning service. Run by the mother and daughter partnership of Linda Rodgers and . They specialise in arranging, project managing and coordinating a range of events in the locality and have successfully managed the first 6 of The Beverley Network of Stallholders craft and shopping events, previously held at the Beverley Arms Hotel. However due to a desire, amongst traders, to move the events closer to the town centre and in a bid to offer better access and parking, the decision was made to move the fairs to the Lairgate Hotel.

A working partnership has been formed between Linda and Laura at Jigsaw Events and Tom Richardson, the new Manager at the Lairgate Hotel and backed by the Owners George and Rita Riggs, all of whom are looking forward to the next event on 23rd June plus all other forthcoming events 29th September, 10th November and 8th December.

Dates have been discussed between Jigsaw Events and The Lairgate Hotel for 2 wedding fairs, one in October 2013 and a further one in February 2014. These will be in addition to the craft and shopping events planned for 2014.

The upcoming event on 23rd June will see all the usual stall holders plus the introduction of some exciting new ones too; Phoenix Trading will be in attendance offering their beautifully designed cards and stationery.

The rooms will be filled with the aromas of the vegan friendly, soya wax candles from Harpers Bizarre. Erica Jayne will be offering tasters of her homemade oils, jams, pickles and chutneys to tickle the taste buds. If you want to treat your skin A little Something Different have soaps and scrubs for all skin types. Handmade gifts will be in abundance from Aunt Polly’s Dolls Emporium, Greenfields Clothing and Handsewn 4U. Looking for something for the home? Railton Farm Country Gifts and The Angels Share may have just the shabby chic thing for you. Or, if it’s simply retail therapy then come and see the latest collections from Crave Boutique or April and Lisa’s Bags.

Entry to the fair is free, disabled access is available at the rear of the hotel accessed from Grayburn Lane and there is ample free Sunday parking in ERYC car park right next to the hotel, also accessed from Grayburn Lane.
