Time Running Out To Enter The Airkool Walkington 10K

Beverley Athletic Club is organising its very popular annual Airkool Walkington 10k race, which this year takes place at 7.30pm on Friday, July 12.

Almost 500 of the 700 places available have already been taken up, so runners are encouraged to enter quickly to avoid disappointment.

The course is a scenic, rural, undulating 1 lap circular route from Walkington, returning via Little Weighton.

There is also a 1.75 mile family Fun Run at 6.45pm. 10k finishers receive a T-shirt, and Fun Run finishers will receive a medal. The race has a reputation for being well organised and providing a welcoming and friendly atmosphere.

The closing date for entries to both races is Friday June 15, or earlier if the limit is reached before then.
