Double Flowering Success For International Wild Cherry

, the Beverley-based social enterprise working on an international basis, has secured 2 further EU grants through the British Council to host training courses in the UK for participants from across Europe.

21 partners from France, Romania, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Croatia, Poland, Bulgaria, Italy, Albania, Serbia, Kosovo, Montenegro, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Macedonia and the UK will gather together to work together on the topics of migration and entrepreneurship this year.

, Director of Wild Cherry explained, ‘we are delighted with the 100% success rate of our funding applications to date and are very grateful to the British Council for their confidence in us to deliver our brand of training courses. We are a committed organisation who value and respect inclusion, participation, cultural awareness and European citizenship as standard.

We look forward to sharing what we’ve learned with others in the sector, and also to learn from them. We’re keen to develop interactive learning and knowledge sharing platforms to facilitate this, in partnership with others, both in the UK and internationally. Additional and now very valuable benefits in doing so, are that Wild Cherry brings back European money into the UK economy not only through grants, but also through the boost it gives to the local community each time we bring partners over.’

LICK – Language Integrated Content Kit – is a brand developed by our team of international trainers drawn together by the Trainer of Trainers. Basia Ligas from Poland, Tsvetina Zarharlieva from Bulgaria and Sue Dudill from the UK all have the combined skills and experience which produce training courses to address the issues of communication embedded in a priority topic.
