The Beverley Braves were blessed by spring like weather as they held their annual fun run to raise money for the club.
Steve McNamara, England Coach was on hand to get well over a hundred runners ready to tackle the 5K course around the Beverley Westwood.
Linda Rowbotham, Treasurer for the Beverley Braves who took part in the run herself said;
“We hope that this event will raise the profile for the Beverley Braves together with raising the profile for the forthcoming Rugby League World Cup 2013, due to commence in October 2013.”
Tesco gave their support to the occasion by handing out fresh fruit to the runners who had taken part in the Beverley Braves Fun Run.
