The Friends Of Longcroft School Brew Up Coffee Morning Fundraiser

The Friends of Longcroft School (FOLS) are raising a cuppa, with hope to also raise funds at a charity coffee morning. Taking place at Toll Gavel Church on Saturday 26th January between 9:30am and 11:30am, the group hopes that members of the community will come along to support their efforts.

Cath Bunn, chair of FOLS, explained: “There is a long tradition of charity coffee mornings at Toll Gavel and we want to raise as much money as we can at this event – every penny we make supports Longcroft School and enhances the experience of students, by purchasing new equipment and funding additional projects.”

Mrs Bunn also believes this is a chance for former students, who still live locally, to take a trip down memory lane: “We know a lot of local residents used to go to Longcroft and so it’s a great opportunity for them to come along, reminisce and meet young people who currently attend the school. We want it to be a really enjoyable morning that is full of community spirit.”
