Christmas Bus Schedules For Beverley & East Yorkshire

Festive Bus Time Table

Local bus company East Yorkshire Motor Services (EYMS) has announced its bus schedules for this year’s festive period, including extra buses for Boxing Day.

Buses run to different timetables between Eve and New Year’s Day. Although only two days – Christmas Day and New Year’s Day – have no buses running at all, there are reduced services on some other days, so passengers are advised to check before travelling.

• Christmas Eve – normal services, but finishing around 8pm.
• Christmas Day – no buses.
• Boxing Day – no buses except some special journeys in Hull on routes 34C, 56, 64C and 66, providing links to the city centre and the hospitals from east and west Hull.
• Thursday 27 & Friday 28 December – Saturday services will run on most routes.
• Saturday 29 December – normal Saturday services will run.
• Sunday 30 December – normal Sunday services will run.
• New Year’s Eve – Saturday services will run on most routes, with buses finishing at around 8pm.
• New Year’s Day – no buses.
• Wednesday 2 January onwards – back to normal.

New for this year, extra Boxing Day buses have been added in Hull on our Service 66 route, in response to the number of people wanting to travel from the Hessle/Anlaby Road area of Hull into the city centre to take advantage of the Boxing Day sales. Our Boxing Day buses also provide links to and Castle Hill Hospital for people wanting to visit friends and relatives in hospital.
