Beavers Return To League Action With Visit Of Keighley

Back to League action on Saturday for . Keighley are the visitors and the Beavers will be looking to maintain their winning run against a side which is struggling towards the bottom of the table.

Nevertheless, a study of Keighley’s results reveals that all of their 8 defeats have been close affairs and the Beavers will not make the mistake of taking the game lightly.

Following last week’s comfortable victory at Pocklington during which the Beavers gave debuts to a couple of new young players, Head Coach Anthony Posa said today,

“I was very pleased with the showing of both Stuart Nel and Daryl Riches.”

“They both slotted in fairly seamlessly and look to have a bright future given a little more experience.”

“They will only get this by playing at a good level and I will certainly be giving them their chance whenever appropriate whilst taking care not to expose them to too much too quickly.”

For Saturday’s game the Beavers will be without influential players Dave Worrall and Alex Ogilvie but hope to have Joe Pickets and Lee Birch returning from injury.

They will select from the following squad following fitness tests on Thursday night,
