After entering the Cloud 9 Hair competition, assistant manager Jayne has won the chance to work with the fashion label Sass & Bide designers for their catwalk show for London Fashion week this month.
The International Competition had a huge response and from 100’s of entries the judges finally chose just 12 stylists to give this amazing opportunity of working with the celebrities at London Fashion Week. The team will be briefed by Renya Xydis from Australia, who owns three premier salons and has been a part of the International Fashion Week for many years.
When Renya is not doing the fashion show you will find her working with celebrity clients such as Nicole Kidman, Cate Blanchett, Naomi Watts and Hugh Jackman to name just a few.
“This is an amazing opportunity for me to go and work with such a fantastic stylist. I have every intention of learning as much as I can and trying to enjoy the experience, though I am a little nervous!” said Jayne before heading off to London.
Kerris Lacy, salon director, is ecstatic about the competition win explaining how excited all the staff at De Lacy Spa are for Jayne.
“When we got the letter we could not believe it!”
“All the staff want to go with Jayne to cheer her on. We are so proud of what she has achieved and how much this means to her. We just cannot wait for the next competition now. I think we have all been bitten by the competition bug!”
Let’s just hope Jayne doesn’t get whisked off to London and we can keep this local talent in our town of Beverley.
