East Riding of Yorkshire Council is delighted to announce that the essential safety work undertaken on Beverley Bus Station has been completed ahead of schedule, with normal service to resume tomorrow (Saturday, 11 August).
It had been planned to close the bus station from Monday, 6 to Sunday, 12 August, but thanks to the efforts of Hall Special Projects, work has been completed a day early, with the first bus, which is the 121 to Hull departing at 6.21am tomorrow.
Nigel Rowe, the council’s group manager for transportation services, said: “We are very pleased the work has been finished ahead of schedule and on budget, further I would like to thank all those that made the closure seamless with all services continuing to run as normal.”
