Disabled Lady Robbed In Beverley Tesco Store

A man coming to the aid of a disabled shopper in Tesco’s Supermarket in Morton Lane Beverley is then believed to have stolen the woman’s purse.

The incident happened on Friday 11 May 2012 at around 1645hrs.

The woman who was on a disability scooter in the store was struggling to reach an item she wished to purchase and was assisted by a man.

The man reached over the woman to obtain the item she wanted and, at the same time as placing the item in the basket on the front of her scooter, is believed to have taken the woman’s purse, also in her basket.
