Beverley Town Cricket Club’s 1st XV were unable to get the one wicket needed to beat Sessay CC at the Norwood Recreation Ground.
Loosing the toss Beverley were put into bat by the visitors scoring 176, Andrew Hamson (37), Alan Acklam (23) and Matthew Mudd (21).
In reply Sessy CC managed just 150/9 runs but Beverley could not get the all important wicket needed to claim the victory.
The in form Matthew Mudd was the pick of the Beverley bowlers taking 6/47 off 19 overs completing a satisfactory day for the all rounder.
