Registration Plates Stolen From Car On Armstrong Way

are seeking information and witnesses following the theft of registration plates from a car in Beverley.

The grey-silver coloured was left parked securely on Armstrong Way in the town at approximately 1400hrs on Tuesday 15 May.

The car was parked with its nearside tyres to the kerb and it was facing the direction of the railway station, 20 metres from Armstrong Club, on the corner of Grovehill Road.

The vehicle was spotted by a constable at 1600hrs with no registration plates displayed.

The owner of the car then returned and confirmed the plates – YX07 ZKB had been on display two hours earlier.

Anyone who saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area around the car is asked to contact police.

Armstrong Way is quite busy and often gets backed up to due to the train lines.
