Beverley Armed Forces Day, Sunday 1st July 2012 will be a very special one as this year the East Ridings Community Covenant is to be signed by among others the head of the British Army in Yorkshire and the North East, at the event.

Along with the many favourite groups that have performed previously at our event we have added some new ones including the classical singing quartet Ti Amero, Scunthorpe and District Pipe Band and Highland Dancers and The Shivna Irish Dancers.

This year will also see in attendance members of the The East Living History Group and the Civil War group, Artillery on Tour.

Last but not least Peter Jackson will once again carry out a fly past in his Tiger Moth bi-plane at approximately 11:30 am.

Event organiser David Elvidge, Chairman SSAFA Forces Help East Yorkshire said;

“We are very grateful that once again the Beverley branch of will be assisting us by organising the morning parade.”

Service Charities are welcome to attend and to book a free space should contact SSAFA Forces Help at 33 Lissett Close, Leconfield, East Yorkshire, 7LF.
