Super Featherweight Samir Mouneimne set his self up with a shot at the English title as he overcame Pavel Sekouf at the Bonus Arena.
A former pupil of Beverley Grammar School Samir fights from the St Paul’s Amateur Boxing Academy in Hull. His bout was the main fight on the card and Samir once again did not disappoint putting in a big effort in front of his home crowd.
Samir said;
“Really happy with my performance this evening and was getting stronger and stronger as the rounds went on. He was lucky he did not get stopped!”
Samir is now waiting for confirmation of TV dates but expects he will be in action late June early July 2012, boxing for the English title.
