Beverley Racecourse kicked off their 2012 season with Spring into Racing.
Despite the poor wet weather some race goers braved the elements to enjoy an afternoon of racing.
The first winner of the season was won by Ingleby Royale who was ridden by Patrick Mathers.
In the afternoons big race, the Pat and Graham Roberts Ruby wedding Handicap it was Magical Macey, ridden by Graham Gibbons who was victorious.
The next meeting at Beverley Racecourse is once again in the afternoon on Thursday 26th April, first race is due around 2.10pm
