Beverley RUFC cross the Pennines on Saturday to face Rossendale RUFC in their penultimate National League 3(North) match for this season.
They will be encouraged by the display they put on to overcome Sandal by 24 points to 10 in their last match and need to repeat that to have any chance of taking something from Saturday’s game.
Rossendale are lying in second place in the league table and will present the Beavers with a formidable challenge, although Beverley will draw encouragement from the fact that they beat Rossendale back in December at Beaver Park with a very much weaker line up than they should be fielding this week.
With no game last weekend Beverley took the opportunity to have a couple of light training sessions, stepping up the intensity this week. They will select their squad on Thursday night from the following players :-
