Local restaurant Dine on the ROWE have launched a great new offer that gives diners the chance to get a two-course lunch for just £12 between 12 noon and 6pm Tuesday through to Saturday, or on Tuesday to Friday evenings the offer is a two-course meal priced at £15 per person.
Both sittings have very different menus with food that is prepared using locally sourced produce and prepared to the very high standards expected at Dine on the ROWE.
James Birch, the restaurant manager, told HU17.net “The menu is doing very well, customer feedback is good. Many are saying what how good value it is.”
“The food within the offers we have been running is no different to that on our a la carte menu in terms of quality. We do change it on a regular basis so there is plenty of variety.”
When asked how they are able to bring such offers to diners, James explains that the same quality of produce is presented in a slightly simpler way, which reduces the cost to the diner.
“The dishes may be less complicated, and but we still take the same level of care and attention with our preparation and presentation.”
The lunch menu features starters such as black pudding hash with poached egg, miniature fish and chips and miniature Arnold Bennett. Main courses include thin cut sirloin with wild mushroom sauce, Manor Farm flank of beef suet pie with mash and Yorkshire blue cheese and spinach risotto.
In the evening the menu has starters such as stuffed Scarborough field mushrooms with Yorkshire blue cheese and welsh rarebit. Mains include Anna’s Happy Trotters, Belly Pork with mash and apple chutney gravy, homemade smoked haddock and freedom salmon fishcake with curried cream.
