AFC Tickton started the match with only 10 men and within the first five minutes the ball was in the opponents net. Things got even better for Tickton going two nil up after only 25 minutes. Priory managed to grab a goal from a free kick just before half time to get them back into the game.
A goal in the second half gave AFC Tickton another two goal cushion but with only 10 players, Tickton legs started to tire. With 5 minutes remaining Priory scored a second goal to set up a frantic finish. With a last minute corner kick, Priory managed to salvage a point when AFC Tickton could only clear the ball to the edge of the box.
Priory acted quicker and smashed the ball into the AFC Tickton net to the joy of the Priory team and coaching staff. This was hard to take for Tickton as they’d given 110% but with only 10 men this was a great result for AFC Tickton.
