Beaver Prepare For Battle With Waterloo As They Look To Avoid The Drop

The fight against relegation for continues this Saturday with the visit of Waterloo from Merseyside.

The Beavers need to win this game and indeed, all of their remaining home games which are against Sandal and Burnage, to have a realistic chance of avoiding the drop.

With their recent form, particularly against the top sides, this is by no means an impossible task. Indeed, the Beavers could hopefully pick up one or two bonus points in these games, which would be a tremendous help.

Following last Saturday’s heroic performance when undeservedly losing 20 – 22 to League Champions elect Park, confidence is running high in the Beavers camp, and although without at least four of last week’s squad, coach is confident that the replacements drafted in will step up to the mark. He said today,

“Although the need to constantly chop and change personnel on a weekly basis does not help our cause, we at least now have a large enough squad of fit players good enough to cope at this level. All we need is the rub of the green and I am confident that we can survive.”

Saturday’s match is sponsored by The Cubicle Centre.
