A good turnout on Saturday 4th February from the under 14/ 15 s Junior section of Beverley RUFC saw them venture out in the freezing temperatures to raise funds for their up and coming tour to Leicester in March.
The group walked from Kiplingcotes station back to the rugby club’s home, Beaver Park.
Players, parents and a varied collection of dogs enjoyed the stroll, the snow kept away until back at the club where a BBQ was kindly laid on by Mr and Mrs Hazell.
The teams will be part of a training session with Leicester Tigers on their weekend away and will play a floodlit match with a local team on the Saturday followed by watching the Leicester Tigers televised match on the Sunday.
