Swinemoor Students Presented Prizes For Their Efforts In National Competition

During The last few months of 2011, the children of years 5/6 of in Beverley, took part in a national competition to draw a picture of “An Eco House of The Future”.

The competition, organised and ran by , encompassed schools from as far away as Scotland and the south coast and a prize of £500 was awarded to the eventual winner from a school in Nottingham.

’s was the runner up. Each of the children that took part are to be presented with a Vortice Back Pack and .

Head Teacher   was delighted with the news children from the school had won, Mr Myers told HU17.net

“ Swinemoor Children have done so well in this national competition. I am particularly pleased with the second place won by Jack for his design. Swinemoor Children have to compete and test themselves.”
