Beverley RUFC entertain Birkenhead Park RUFC at Beaver Park on Saturday in the National League 3(North) fixture.
Park are a big, physical side who are always difficult opponents and the Beavers will need to be at their best to obtain a result from the game.
The signs are that they are returning to something like their best form and they were very unfortunate to lose a close, thrilling match at Bradford & Bingley by 25 points to 27.
Unfortunately that performance was not without cost since Craig Hancock picked up another injury and is very doubtful for Saturday.
On the plus side Fraley Hopa, Fran Pickering and Gavin Gibson are all making good progress and could come into the reckoning. Mark Hatfield has a hamstring problem and is doubtful.
