Humberside Fire and Rescue Service Fire-fighters from Beverley put themselves and their equipment to the test during their 2 hour weekly training/development session.
They practice and demonstrate various extrication and stabilisation techniques using some of the most up to date equipment on the market on scrap and damaged motor vehicles in their drill yard.
In recent weeks Beverley Fire Station has seen a spike in “Persons Reported” RTC’s in their area.
This type of input is vital in the build up to a change in weather conditions for the year with ice and fog and the perils to motorists that can bring.
