Hodgsons FC were well beaten by North Ferriby United Reserves 7 – 0 at Longcroft School as they continue to find life tough at the top.
Hodgsons started well enough though things started to go wrong when they lost front man Rob Northern through injury and then skipper Ben Daniels who was sent off.
The result leaves the Tanners in the bottom two of the Humber Premier League, for United the win lifts them eight points clear of the relegation zone as they go to 10th in the table.
Paul Silvester who still unable to play due to injury was watching the game and said; “We looked OK to begin with though as soon as we lost Ben we fell apart, it was an awful day.”
Next weekend Hodgsons FC will make the short to the Henry Thirsk Amenity Centre where they will face Pocklington Town.
