The landlord of Hodgsons Pub Keith Jenkins and his wife Carol Jenkins held a joint 60th birthday at their Beverley boozer. Friends and family joined the couple as they celebrated their birthday in their pub on Flemingate. 146 local runners gathered at East Hull Harriers’ clubhouse in Saltshouse Road to take part in the club’s Boxing Day 10k road race. The Beverley Beaver Pigeon Club held their annual awards at Hodgsons Pub. Members were presented with trophies and cash prizes for their efforts across a season of Pigeon Racing. Top prize winner was Phil Whitehead, Brian Levitt and Steve Waslin finished second and third respectively.
