Beverley’s next Armed Forces Day (AFD) will take place on Sunday 1st July 2012, the event takes a great deal of planning with exhibitors and performers being booked as early as possible to avoid any disappointment on the day, as events take place throughout the County and often clash.
Next year is a special year and we hope to mark the Queens Jubilee year by putting together a much more varied and comprehensive programme of entertainment with performers, exhibitors and musicians from across the County then we have ever done before.
However to enable us to do this planning, and to proceed SSAFA Forces Help East Yorkshire who manage the event would like to ask for sponsors to come forward and help us fund what could be our best largest ever event.
