Hull City Defender Jack Hobbs Visits St Nicholas School

, newly signed as a defender for three years, visited St Nicholas school this Tuesday to present new kits to the boys and girls football teams.

The kits were bought by the Friends of St Nicholas school who fundraised over £500 for them.

A special assembly was held in which Jack presented the kits to the team representatives; Louis Hatch yr. 3, Matthew Armstrong-Rice  yr. 4, George Ibbertson yr. 5, Louis Platts   yr.6, Eden Mercer – girls.

The school football coaches Terry Richardson and Lee Clark were also present.

Jack has also played for Liverpool and and made time for a private meeting with fans and teachers before presenting the kits.

It was a successful trip to Beverley, but it remains to be seen whether some of the professional footballer’s talent will have rubbed off onto the student’s new kit!
