Beverley’s Most Successful Author to Attend Lit Fest

It’s been at least 10 years since celebrated Beverley Author appeared at the . This year Val is back to celebrate the release of her 17   th   novel The Harbour Girl.

Val says: “I’m so looking forward to meeting readers old and new and will be reading from my new novel, The Harbour Girl, which is set for release in November so all attendees will be hearing an exclusive presentation”.

The new novel The Harbour Girl is available from November 10   th   and the official launch takes place on this date at 5.30 – 6pm at Waterstone’s Jameson street, Hull. Val has previously held the top spot on the Waterstone’s Christmas book chart for the past two years and this year looks set to do the same.

Val has a huge following locally as her novels feature areas of the East Riding and Yorkshire, this novel focuses specifically on areas in Scarborough and Hull. However, Val has fans as far afield as Canada and Australia due to the universal appeal of historical romance.
