Festival Administrator said of the short listing “we are all so excited! To be one of the UK festivals picked out of hundreds for the shortlist is amazing but competition is tough so we really need the public to vote Beverley Folk, Acoustic & Roots in The Fans’ Favourite Festival category. If we won an award, it would be the icing on the cake.

We have worked extremely hard over the years to develop the facilities and opportunities available to children, youths and adults of all ages by providing a dedicated and assorted programme of events and activities. The festival is a relaxed and fun environment where also have the opportunity to be creative and recognised if they want to be. Ultimately we endeavour to make sure everyone who attends has fun and enjoys themselves. We are very proud of what we produce – a festival that is genuinely suitable for all tastes and ages – a Real Family Festival”

As well as voting for the Award, the festival team is always keen to receive more support from anyone wishing to become involved in any way whatsoever in the event – as a Volunteer over the weekend or during the year; as a Sponsor or Partner in any way.

Festival organisers are keen to stress that they view the festival a partnership with their local community, and with those throughout the East Riding of Yorkshire and Hull, and are happy to invite other organisations and individuals to become a part of the “family”.
