On Thursday, 8 and Friday, 9 September visitors to Beverley Treasure House can go beyond the public spaces of the museum, archive and library for special Heritage Open Day tours.
Visitors can find out how ancient documents and objects are stored and conserved. They can discover the special technology that keeps the collections safe. They will meet the staff and go behind the scenes into the collections repositories, conservation workshop, plant room and library store.
Tours will take place at 10am, 12noon and 2pm on Thursday and at 10am and 12noon on Friday.
