Police Appeal: Theft Maple News Beverley

Humberside in Beverley are appealing for information following an incident which occurred at Maple News, Maple Drive, Beverley on Monday 01 August 2011.

At 1225hrs, a man entered the newsagents and took a packet of chewing gum to the cash point.  As the till was opened the man reached across and grabbed some cash from the drawer before running out of the shop.

The man is described as white, aged between 30 and 40 years, with light brown hair.  He was wearing a yellow (possibly high visibility/reflective) jacket and black gloves.

Officers investigating the incident are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the offender in the area, to come forward to assist with inquiries.
