Ace Disco Party Sounds and Beverley Rugby Club are hoping to build up a monthly event that will offer youngsters aged between 13 and 15 an alternative Friday nights entertainment. The gruelling 12-hour Hell on the Humber endurance race started at 7 o’clock on Saturday evening and finished at 7 o’clock on Sunday morning. Beverley Town Cricket Clubs’s 3rd XI drew with Hull Ionians Coal Exporters at the Norwood Recreation Ground. Winning the toss Beverley put Hull into bat and the visitors scored 193. Beverley 13 year old Greg Whyley was the stand out performer picking up two wickets.
