Children’s Paper Making Workshop @ The Beverley Treasure House

Children can discover and create at the Treasure House this summer by taking part in a paper making workshop ‘The Wonderful World of Paper’ on Saturday, 6 August from 10am-1pm.

Participants can make their own decorative paper from recycled paper pulp and encrust them with a unique pattern of strands, threads and other delicate materials.

Find out how paper from different parts of the world, including Japan and Europe, are made and discover some surprising uses for it.

To book a place, call (01482) 392706 or 392699 or visit www.eastriding.gov.uk/events

Children must be aged eight years or older and places cost £6. Suitable clothing is advised as the event can involve some mess.

Workshops and drop-in activities take place throughout the year for children and families at the Treasure House and at all East Riding Service sites.
