Beverley Junior Scores First Points In Tough Road Race

’s scored his first British points in the Hull Thursday Road race on 15th May.

Seventeen year-old Paul took 10th place, outpacing many strong and experienced riders on the hard and hilly North Newbald circuit. The performance was all the more impressive as this is only the fourth road race Paul has ever entered in his life – and he’s been training for less than six months.

VC chairman said: “This is an outstanding result for Paul so early in his road cycling career. It shows his tremendous natural ability and great potential as a first-class road racer. All at VC Beverley are proud to have him in our ranks.”

Paul Drop of VC Beverley also completed the race.
