Police are appealing for witnesses following a road traffic collision which occurred on Tuesday 03 May 2011.
At 1520hrs a 25-year-old woman was cycling along Central Avenue, Beverley, approaching Thurstan Road when she was overtaken by a silver coloured Ford Ka with a black body kit. The vehicle is said to have collided with the cyclist which resulted in her being knocked off her bicycle and sustaining substantial bruising to her body.
The driver of the vehicle failed to stop at the incident and officers investigating the collision are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
