  1. The blue and gold kit of the Beverley AC Juniors dominated the field in Sunday’s 2K Fun Run which was held prior to the Beverley 10K. This event, however, is not merely a fun run for these serious junior runners who regularly compete against some of the best athletes in the County as well as attending National events.

After leading the race around the Leisure Centre grounds and out on to the course, Ethan Dalton was the first Beverley AC athlete home, finishing in 4th position and in a time of 8:39. Hot on the heels of Ethan was Nicole Dawson (9:01) who notched up 1st girl for the third year in succession. Beverley girls Jessica Chapman and Lizzie Evans took 2nd and 3rd positions with times of 9:07 and 9:44 respectively.

    Other Beverley finishing times were:

Oliver Cockerill 9:05, Connor Spilsbury 9:20, Luke Chapman 9:38, Taylor Arnott 9:40, Dayna Arnott 9:48, Morgan Dennis 9:57, Lauryn Garwood 9:58, Ed Prew 9:59, Kelly Dawson 10:00, Eleanor Boyd 10:14, Jacob Chastney 10:36, Joe Cockerill 10:50, Alex Park 10:57, Jordon Peacock 11:23, Francesca Brittain 11:40.
