Molescroft youngster Jessica Chapman won the Talented Performer this week at the Sport and Play Recognition Awards though the Humber Colts were dealt knock out blow missing out on the Top Team award to Hull Kung Fu.
Schools, coaches, volunteers and sports stars from throughout the East Riding were honoured at the sport and play recognition awards presentation evening at The Spa Bridlington on Wednesday, 4 May.
Over 175 people were in attendance at the awards from across the 12 categories.
Initially 75 nominations were received, which were judged by an awards panel and the chairman of East Riding of Yorkshire Council, Councillor David Rudd, picked out his winner in each category.
All top nominations were invited to the awards with the winner was presented with an award and certificate.
The awards were hosted by Commonwealth and Olympic swimming champion, Adam Whitehead.
