The annual Beverley 10k road race takes place this Sunday and motorists will experience delays in and around the town, in particular in the area around the leisure centre, Wednesday Market and Lairgate.
The event starts at 11.15 in Eastgate next to the Minster and rolling road closures will be in operation as the race progresses through the town, across the Westwood and back again.
The fastest runners will complete the course in about 30 minutes and the slowest are expected to take no longer than 80 minutes so most roads should be clear again by one o’clock.
Beverley Athletic Club would like to thank motorists for their patience during the road closures which ensure the safety of athletes and drivers.
