Jagger: Golf Day Gives Tanners Chance to Beat Town at Something

Beverley Town Football Club are once again running their highly successful golf day.

The last event was held in 2009 and was very well supported by local businesses and golfers from the Beverley area.

Organiser Rich Jagger is hoping this years event will be even more popular he said:

” The last event went really well, and we are hoping we can build on that success this year. We had around 20 teams competing for some great prizes, and raised some much needed funds for Beverley Town FC.”

“Beverley Town FC have been the leading football club in the town for a number of years, but the current financial climate means it gets harder every year just to run the club, never mind grow and develop it.”

“We are particularly looking forward to next season. The well deserved promotion of Hodgsons FC means there will be two fantastic derby matches to relish. ”

“In fact it would be great to see the Tanners enter a team in the golf day, and give them a chance to beat Beverley Town FC at something!!”
