Tickton Hall: Open Day & Horse Auction

Tickton Hall Stables has one of the best facilities in the North England. Facilities cover a 110 acre site and include a 40 by 80 floodlit indoor ecotrack arena, outdoor arena, canter track and cross country course, training room with audio visual equipment, stable yards housing up to 60 horses, 3 polo pitches and stunning grazing paddocks.

The facilities were built predominately as a polo facility catering for a local polo membership club and entertaining such reputable guests as Prince William and Kate Middleton. With such impressive facilities, the owner has now decided to open the facilities for use to all equestrian activities.

Tickton Hall Stables provides riding tuition & livery to the highest standard and can be tailored to suit individual needs, with lessons starting from four years old. Every discipline is available from general flatwork, dressage, show jumping & polo. With 110 acres of off-road hacking it allows all levels to enjoy riding outside safely.

Tickton Hall Stables will launch its own pony club allowing all children under 25 to join in the fun of horses, along with discipline and proficiency through games, competitions, pony days and camps.

Tickton Hall Stables will offer a full fixtures list of competitions, training days including a full summer polo season.

With a strong eco philosophy, helping the environment where possible is important to Tickton Hall Stables.  With new initiatives being introduced regularly to the staff and ways of working, Tickton Hall Stables will continue to improve its green credentials.

Alison , the newly appointed Equestrian Director brings a wealth of experience to the and is passionate about making Tickton Hall Stables the best facility in the north. Having worked in the South for clients including, the children of Tom Cruise and Steven Spielberg, Alison knows what professionalism looks like and wants to sprinkle some of the special treatment to the North.

The next step for the 110 acre site is to launch it as an eco equestrian holiday destination. With planning permission accepted for 6 eco holiday lodges and enough stables to be converted into an eco horse hotel, Tickton Hall Stables is certainly doing its bit to promote Yorkshire as a place to be.

This is our first auction to be held at Tickton Hall Stables for you to buy or sell quality horses. Please contact us to enter your horse for sale or just come along to the auction Auction starts at 2pm, viewing from 11am
