Juniors Do Beverley Proud in Barton

There were some superb performances from the Beverley Athletic Club Juniors at the Barton & District A.C 31st Open Cross Country Meeting held at Baysgarth Park, Barton upon Humber on Sunday 27th February 2011.

As this event always attracts both local and out of County athletes, the competition is extremely tough.  The Beverley juniors certainly rose to this challenge, and did not go home disappointed.   With near perfect running conditions, the team had a great day and won a number of trophies.

Both Nicole Dawson and Oliver Cockerill just missed out on prizes in their respective races, however, Jessica Chapman did take second place for the under 13 girls.

Team prizes went to :

Oliver Cockerill, Ed Prew and Luke Chapman for 2nd Under 13 Boys.
Taylor Arnott, Joseph Cockerill and Alex Potter for 3rd Under 11 Boys.
Jessica Chapman, Dayna Arnott and Morgan Dennis for 1st Under 13 Girls.
