Appeal following assault – Beverley
Police are appealing for witnesses following two assaults that occurred in Beverley on Monday 07 February 2011.
Two 54-year-old women were out walking along Manor Road at approximately 2010hrs when they were hit by an egg thrown from a passing motor car.
At approximately 2040hrs the two women were walking along North Bar when they were again hit by an object, which is believed to be an egg, thrown from a passing vehicle.
The two women sustained minor bruising from the incident.
The vehicle is described as being a small dark coloured hatchback car, with possibly three male occupants. One of the males is described as white, approximately 17-18 years old with blonde short hair.
