Over 200 young people attended a Club Night themed Youth Cafe at Beverley Minster on Friday night. An army of volunteers from the congregation ensure this event takes place every 6-8 weeks for the young people of Beverley.
Working in partnership with other churches in Beverley, the Beverley Minster hosts the Youth Cafe under the Love Beverley banner, which seeks to serve the town of Beverley in any way possible.
Students from all three secondary schools attended, with many ‘dance off’ competitions held during the night. Local police officers attended the event at the end, and made sure traffic was ordered for young people to leave the Minster safely.
