New Years Eve 2010 @ The Beverley Minster

For any true Beverlonian, the best way to see in 2011 was the traditional ‘Service for the New Year’ held at Beverley Minster.

Mayor Bessie Foot and Reverend Jeremy Fletcher welcomed the townsfolk to a service within the Minster. The congregation were then invited to have a hot chocolate and a snack in the Western Forecourt. Many Beverley residents also joined them, some of them bringing champagne, to hear the Beverley Minster Tower Bell Ringers bring in the New Year with a glorious peal of church bells.
