Beverley Folk Festival Teams Up With Hull’s FRUIT for its Xmas Celebrations

Come to the Party, celebrate this great festival and get a taster of its 2011 activities

Following the success of its collaboration with FRUIT during the Freedom Festival in Hull, earlier this year, the Beverley Festival is teaming up again with this new Hull venue, to celebrate Xmas with a special night of great artists, on Saturday 11th December.

he brought out his solo album, “The Chronicles of Modern Life” which on its release topped the Amazon “Folk and World” charts. Since then he has worked constantly as a solo artist and the festival is delighted that he will be appearing at this event.

Another popular artist at the festival is comedian, poet, singer and songwriter Rory Motion, from York. A regular performer at , the Guardian said of him ”More laughs and gags than many more aggressive acts.  Quite out of step with the current comedy scene and all the funnier for it.”

The Hall Brothers and Jon Carey bring to the event their very own brand of excellent folk / rock, having supported such diverse as Fairport Convention and the Wedding Present.

And to bring a touch of Americana to the event will be King Courgette, with their blend of original and some old classics from the genres of Old Time, Bluegrass and Blues.

A great evening offering a variety of to suit all tastes and all for just £10.00!

Dig out the glad rags and come celebrate and the Festive Season
