Runners and walkers are invited to join members of Beverley Athletic Club in a run or walk to celebrate the 12th anniversary of the opening of the Beverley Beaver Trail.
The event starts at 10.00 on Sunday 21 November at Beverley Leisure Centre. All participants will be rewarded with a commemorative badge and are also invited to join club members for soup and a roll in the Leisure Centre afterwards. There is no charge for entry or food.
The Beaver Trail was founded by Beverley Athletic Club in 1999 and follows a picturesque cross-country route with minimal use of roads. There is a choice of 5, 10 and 13-mile distances. For those wanting an extra challenge there will be the option of a two-mile extension to the 13-mile route. To add extra interest this year the routes will be run or walked in reverse. Maps of all routes will be provided.
Toilet, shower and changing facilities are available at Beverley Leisure Centre.
